The government of German announced scholarships in Germany for international students. The students will study in the related German universities. All the requirements for the scholarships are given below in detail. All the eligible candidates are required to apply before the last date.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarships offer international graduates from growing and recently industrialized countries from all courses and with at least two years of professional experience. There is a chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a university in German. And in rare cases to take a doctoral-level degree, and to achieve a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.

All of the graduates’ candidates with at least two years professional experience from any of the following countries: list of eligible countries
The scholarships include monthly payments of
861 euros for graduates unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.
- or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates;
- payments towards health,
- accident and personal liability insurance cover;
- and travel allowance,
The scholarship duration is 12 to 24 months (depending on the particular institution) for Masters and 42 months for PhD.
- The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree (normally four years) in a related subject.
- The graduate student should have completed an academic degree with good results such that upper third and also have two years of related professional experience at least after the first bachelor degree.
- The academic degrees of the candidates should not be older than six years.
- German language:
The German language is compulsory for study courses in German. (scholarship includes a 6-month German language course): All the candidates must complete the language examination DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 before the course started. Therefore the B1 level is required at the time of application, and proof with certificate is compulsory.
- English language:
For courses offered in English IELTS (Band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based) is required.
